The 63rd Annual Central California Band Review
is Saturday, November 11th!
is Saturday, November 11th!
Every year, The Golden Valley High Cardinal Regime hosts the Central California Band Review (CCBR) which is the second-longest-running band review in California's history! The review began as an annual Veterans Day parade – first held Nov. 11, 1960 – and continues to strive to honor our nation's heroes!
High school and junior high school bands from all over the state converge on Golden Valley High School for a day full of music and competition. Bands compete in several categories including Parade, Color Guard, Percussion, Jazz and Field Show and awards are presented to the top scores.

In keeping with the original theme of honoring our local heroes, all veterans in attendance receive the VIP treatment and are provided a front row seat at the parade!
CCBR provides us an opportunity to show off our band program, our school and our community and we take pride in putting on a great event! We appreciate the hospitality offered at other band reviews and CCBR is our chance to return the favor.
CCBR is also one of our band program's biggest fundraisers and we could not pull it off without the support of our school, the city of Merced, event sponsors and our amazing volunteers. From concessions and hospitality to runners and chaperones, we need all hands on deck!
